Å se originaler som har ligget urørt i 34 år, tydeliggjør viktigheten av fotografiet som historisk dokument og dets unike formidlingsevne. Motivene er et resultat av at fotografene har vært tilstede, og med sitt genuine håndverk foreviget øyeblikkene som vi kan ta del i. Her ønsker vi å dele de unike bildene som får oss til å stoppe opp, etter hvert som vi dukker ned i arkivet.

To see photographs that have lain undiscovered for 34 years shows the importance of photography both as a historical record and a uniquely immediate medium. Because of the photographer’s ability to capture the moment, we can take part in history. In this blog we will share our findings, as we explore the uniquely valuable archive.
